The Unification of the Executive Branch
The idea that we have an independent Department of Justice really bothers me. Even if you're not a huge fan of the unitary executive theory, you still have to acknowledge that the Department of Justice is not independent. A good example of this that I always like to use are gun cases, because you have limited resources and you're deciding where to put them in that at the end of the day is a political decision.
