The Meaning of Virtue
Walter White's virtues were put to use in all sorts of morally contemptible actions. We can't wish away the real existence of his virteux, he says. But we also can't identify his excellence with the evil that was done through it. He's making a distinction between raw talent and the orientation or the use of that talent.
