The Passive Voice in English

AJ: The passive voice is a very weak way of communicating. It's overused because academics, you know, schools love the passive voice. Yarmir: I think basically just use direct language. Especially when you write. Don't use passive voice, please. You know, your professors may force you to do it. But otherwise, there's just not a lot of need for it. Just better to speak in a more direct way with a subject.
