The increase in Canada pension plan is based on October's year over year CPI numbers. If you start collecting before 2023, you get close to 7% indexing. You almost double the indexing by collecting earlier rather than later. So just because it's high this year, things are getting more expensive doesn't necessarily mean that next year, wage growth will be higher.
