The Importance of Swimming Lessons
On land, I needed braces. But in the water, I did anybody else. Did anybody, everything else that anybody could do. My swim coach had the experience with somebody who was an amputee. So she knew that like being disabled does not mean that she should be afraid of taking me on. And I think throughout the years, we just adapted to whatever I could do.
