The Last Act of Brundibar by Victor Ulman

Victor Ulman wrote 23 compositions while interned at Tereznstadt, including a one-act opera entitled The Emperor of Atlantis. Ernst Krennich started out writing in mauler and Strauss-like late romanticism but by the early 1920s he had fallen under the spell of the 12-tone system. In a supreme irony, the Nazis generally encouraged this kind of artistic outpouring as it allowed them to show off the camp to skeptical outsiders.
