The IWW and the Strike

The IWW had dock worker members in Canada, as we talk about in our episode 52. The union didn't have any dock workers members in the US at this time. In May 1913, there was approximately 4,000 of them, voted to affiliate with the IWW. And they become known as Vocal 8. They're not the eighth union in the IWW; it's the numbers are confusing.
