The Threat of Nuclear Weapons
There are 10 states that have nuclear weapons, starting from the USA in 45 to North Korea in 2006. One every five, six years, the Israelis have never acknowledged whether they have nuclear weapons or not. Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan are the only post-Soviet states that inherited the bomb and then decided with pressure from the United States and Russia to give them up. South Africa is the only state that developed nuclear weapons during the apartheid regime.
