The Problem With the Cross

Trip, Gerard and Grace: The cross is so problematic to me and to many feminist thinkers. When we think about the cross, there is a theologian, Rita Nakashima-Brock, who says it almost perpetuates this abuse. How can God allow his only begotten son to be crucified on that cross? And hopefully by the end of this panel, we'll get to somewhere where we can solve some of that.
