The Role of the Orchestra in Society

I love guest conducting. It's fun to go to places and meet an oxta for a week. Yu never need a beg eno, exactly. The most fruitful part for me is a those long term relationships where you can really see that you've done something for an institution,. And i love the responsibility of that as well. Is one of the tings i love in this job is not only the responsibility to the orchestra, but the fact that we're a national art centre. What is our role in society? And how can we be er vocal about what's great about music and bring it to as many people as possible? Now, that's a lovely job to have.
