I feel pragmatism, to me, seems like the best of close modern insights. But deprived of the impulse which you find in some post-modern thinkers. The temptation to that nothing is true and that everything is indeed permitted or that it's all relative. That seems to me a catastrophic error, but one the pragmatists do not make. In that kind of scepticism has is rope. Without the pragmatic background, they create a lot of confusion with to structualism and tose modernism and all these other modernisms.
