Bob Greene: I do want to get to a couple of the other issues that you've raised about the Times coverage over the course of the time there and in the book. Could you talk about the practice of quote approval that you discussed? Greene: Sure. So this happened very soon after I started at the Times, there was a front page story which revealed that reporters were actually having to get their quotes from on the record quotes from officials approved by a public relations person before they could be used in the paper.
