With the declaration of a free commonwealth, the church is established. There's religious freedom. Censorship is stopped. Publication of all kinds of ideas is now allowed. People moved back on to common lands and tore down walls and hedges. They seized control of what they knew as the common went back to lands where they had tendencies and began occupying and farming them again. In the view of some, this was simply a return to the correct order of the world as it had been before this tyranny had begun.
