I think there's something to be said for journaling about your life. In English, I have different rules for myself that I keep when reading or watching something. Usually in English, if I start a book, I like to finish it generally, unless I really detest it. And I usually only read one thing at once in English. In Spanish, I have the opposite rule: If I usually give something a few chapters, because you have to get into the groove of a book. So I'll also read more than one book at once, which is something that I don't do in English.
