The Winsome Word in Christian Apologetics

When I first read Reason for God, it was probably in the 2010, 2011 timeframe. And that word never struck me as strange. In fact, it struck me as quite a nice word. But yet all of a sudden fast forward to this era we're talking about post-Jobergafel and now into the Biden years. The subculture of evangelical, maybe Southern, right-wing Christians have decided winsome is a controversial word.
