Cormac McCarthy's the Ghost of Bobby Weston
There's a sense of paranoia and dread in the books is that there's a kind of anxiety, which you say is also you know, kind of maybe post-nuclear. I think that certainly the passenger more than, more than Stylomaris and more than any other book that McCarthy has written today really do touch on a real creeping sense of paranoia. There are aspects of tension in these books, aspects of deliver, and little bits of Lovecraft in there as well. They have all the places we'd expect to find Lovecraft, I wouldn't necessarily thought it'd be in McCarthy's works, but there's something of him in there aswell.
