How much could other countries buy from russia to offset the impact of this ubin? The million dollar question er for global oil markets. A lot of these energy floes could currently flow along pipe lines and fixed infer structure. In order to get that western russian crud and gas that traditionaly was flowing to europe to china, youad basically going to have to build new infer structure.

The US Federal Reserve raised its benchmark policy rate by half a percentage point for the first time since 2000, the European Union is trying to ban almost all imports of Russian oil, and the FT’s Ben Hall explains why Russia is making nominal military progress in Ukraine.
