The Importance of Separating Emotions From Reason
There's no absolute separation between emotions and reason, says Julian Gunesh. Even the strongest emotions can't really be assessed unless you tie them to rational reasons people have for them., he adds. In broad terms, that's why I think, obviously, there's no absolute separated. Whether or not there are certain occasions where it is possible, desirable, and necessary to keep the emotion as far out from reason as possible is another matter. But a general separation just doesn't make sense.
