Energy Efficiency Is a Big Require for a Low Carbon Future

IEA says energy efficiency could provide more than 40% of abatement required by 2040 to be in line with the Paris agreement. Companies cannot go on selling the same amount of oil and gas. They would have to shift their focus towards something else maybe like electricity, different chemicals or carbon capture services. Total has the most revenue from wind and solar generation at 8%, then comes BP and Shell around 6%. And then the rest have around 1% of less of their total revenue.
