How to Tape for Performance

For an Ironman my taper was two weeks, but for 70.3 or Olympic distance my table seven days. I would always bring the volume back about 30 to 40% and with my intensity. My rule of thumb was cap your intensity right at your targeted race intensity level. And just shorter duration intervals with with longer rest longer longer rest intervals in those sessions.
