The Liturgy of the Word

Liturgy of the Word is a preparation, a movement of us drawing us in a sense to get ready to see and join in again that great event of Calvary. The second half of the mass moves from the pulpit essentially to the altar. So you're preparing yourself in admitting your guilt.
