Kamiko's mom taught her to be frugal and that money was a double inch sword. As an adult, Kamiko followed in her mother's footsteps by printing out mortgage statements with highlighter so she could see how much they were saving. "I did my best to retain what I felt was so beautiful about my mom's money beliefs," says Kamiko.
