Mammoth Lakes

There's a fascinating programme in mammoth where they've learned to live alongside the bears. They learne that if they don't try and drive the bears out of town, if they basically manage the behaviour of the bears so that they behave in a fashion that is considered acceptable, those will keep the wild bears. These bears have become sort of habituated. But i would say that one of my strongest memories really is up in the cathedral range, or up u kind of talomy area, and being around lake tanaya.
