Examining Supply Side Options to Achieve 100% Clean Electricity by 2035

A new paper examines options to achieve 100% clean electricity by 2035. It looks at the cost and performance of all zero emissions technologies, including direct air capture of CO2. All four scenarios lead to a 100% clean power sector by 2035 even with 66% higher demand from electrifying transportation and buildings on the way to a zero emissions economy by 2050.
