About Mitch Stein:
I’m in a period of professional transition after spending 3 years pursuing a dream 🌟After studying finance & accounting at Wharton and spending 7 years as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs, I took a big leap in a new direction with Pond, a tech start up we founded to streamline how nonprofits connect with the best software, services & training to power their missions ⚡
After raising over $1M in pre-seed funding, growing to a team of 10 and helping 1,000s of users, we ultimately made the tough decision of winding down the company at the end of 2022 ❤️ Founding a company is hard, shutting one down is hard and figuring out what to do next is hard! So I’m taking some time to heal and reflect 🧘🏼♂️
I’m also working on a few projects in the meantime, including advising & coaching other founders & leaders interested in genuine thought leadership on LinkedIn 💞 I always do my best to share learnings, aha moments and entertaining updates from my journey here on LinkedIn - feel free to follow along if you’re into start ups, social impact and good stories 😊
Stop waiting for recognition - It's time to recognize yourself.
