The proposed Amblar Road or Amblar Industrial Corridor would come off of the Alaska Pipeline Road as a 200-mile industrial corridor straight into the Brooks Range. The Western Arctic and the river of the river, which until recently was nearly half a million animals roaming this country, is on par with the Serengeti and the last great herds on Earth. "It would be so important for people to go up there and take a hike with you and get a sense of this," he says.
