How Critical Power Tracks Training Adaptations

If you look at the literature it tracks it very well. It is sensitive to training in that sense. There are potential problems in that the variance in any time to exhaustion performance and you're adding them all together. So, as an example, when you measure critical power and what you often do is you ignore the confidence limits associated with you. And then it's associated with the parameter estimates of 20 watts or 30 watts or sometimes 40 watts. No early athlete is going to produce that bigger training change in six weeks.
