The Victorian Era, Right?

The peak of scientific materialism is really around the 1890s, give or take everything's a machine. So you've got this sort of machine universe at its most potent and some lessons or understanding learn from that which kind of moves into something that feels better. That's all this kind of 19th century, fecund potent, like compost for things to grow in. I think if it had landed in any other soil, it wouldn't have grown the way it grew. It had to have been like a 19th century,. kind of like high Victorian soil and Britain too.
