G.N.'s Ultimatum

G.N. drew up a four-page document of stipulations he wanted his future wife to agree to before they got married. G.N.'s prospective bride sent it back with a note saying, "The usual marriage clause for better or for worse is good enough for everyone else and it's good enough for me" The test of a successful person is not an ability to eliminate all problems before they arise, but to meet and work out difficulties when they do arise. We must be willing to make an intelligent compromise with perfection lest we wait forever before taking action.
