The idea has always been to protect the power of wealthy white people. All things overlap in in the sort of right wing agenda. I don't think people understand quite how much the whole quoton quote, states rights movement was borne out of that. The coke brothers were very much inspired by the brown versus board decision. And then kind of out of that, you see the whole charter school school choice movement growing. You see all of their climate stuff, like all those arguments kind of end up tying together.
