The Importance of Proxies

We need proxies because you're not allowed to taste the ketchup in the store. The cover on a book is a proxy. We judge books by their cover all the time. People who can type really fast or are tall aren't accurate useful proxies for will they get the job done. What matters is empathy, loyalty, honesty, resilience and patience. And we can now show our previous work so much easier than before.
