Tories - Who Would They Replace Liz Truss With?
I think Hunt is being written up as this sort of Tory Saviour caretaker Prime Minister, but I don't buy it. He's a remainder Cameroon, Boris Johnson loyalists, remember him maneuvering against Johnson pretty early in that leadership campaign over summer. Ben Wallace doesn't actually have a parliamentary base while he's very popular with members and there's good reason for that. It's only the war that's repelled him forward. Everyone always says, what has Ben Wallace want to do about the economy, the health, everything else? I don't think he knows. I think he wants to be NATO Secretary-General.
