What Is Dual Class Stock?
The New York Times has dual class stock, which is good when they have it and bad when they don't. The old media grandeis are basically the meritless nepotists who inherited their fortunes but get no coverage. They're actually successful if you just understand what they're optimizing for. And I'm sure if some like magnate Bill Tis Fortune or Arthur Salzberger wanted to start a war, nobody would be able to stop them.
