I mean, this is the American caste system. There's a wonderful book called cast by Isabel Wilkerson that talks about the caste system in America and how it was developed. Every group that comes into America has an opportunity to climb up that caste system, except black people who have been firmly placed at the bottom of that caste system. And the way that you rise up through the caste system is by showing disregard for those for black people. Any time the whites in charge need to anytime they feel like there's too many of the people at the bottom rising up, they just invite the next group in.
