In the high tax worlds, wealthy drivers have less money to spend on cars. The two worlds won't be the same in all of the respects. Government exists primarily for the purpose of crowning welfare queens and building bridges to nowhere. They waste money with such gusto that it's hard to find anything useful that they do.

Professor Frank is the emeritus Henrietta Johnson Louis Professor of Management at Cornell University and holds an MA in statistics and a Ph.D. in Economics from UC Berkeley.
