How Do You Get Away From Writing?
"I like knowing how many words i've written," she says. "If harsh criticism is written in good faith and im intelligently, then it doesn't affect me as me." She has a circle of friends who are also very good writers; they tell her if she's being funny enough or pander to an imagined audience. The harshest criticism comes from someone with irrational loathing for you, she says.
