Is It a Translator of Theology?
Lutheran theology, atat least from the lutheran perspective, is not for intellectual stimulation. It is actually supposed to be communicating salvation to people. I don't think there was a sense of that in lewis's time. And so he's an academic too. This gy am ad, by the time he was 13, read more books than any of us will probably ever reading in a lifetime,. even we educated people. Was very, very fluent in greek and latin, i think french as well. He would have found them extremely boring after about five minutes horish.
