Will a Russian Military Invasion Happen?
There's a degree of sympathy among europeans for the ucranian cause right now, and the fear that they experience of a russian military invasion. In war rut, you bill up a military deterrent because you want to deter it's not that germany wants to war with russia. We're in totally uncharted territory. There'sne been a country as important in the global economy as russia that's been cut off after being integrated into it. The soviet union was kind of a hermetically sealed communist economic power. Tha's why the us couldn't really use sanctions very effectively against it. It was never part of the world economy
