Perkins's Legacy in Chemistry
Perkin was a chemical colorist who died in July of pneumonia and his appendix burst. He did not seek medical help for several days because he was weary of doctors. His children all followed in their father's footsteps, becoming scientists themselves. We'll talk about that more and go behind the scenes with our listener barb.
