In 2029 mutants are nearly extinct and Logan, finally aging due to his failing healing ability, works as a limo driver in El Paso, Texas. He helps care for 90-year-old Xavier who suffers from dementia and telepathic seizures. While on the run, Xavier insists they help out a farmer and his family who subsequently gets slaughtered along with Xavier by a younger clone of Logan X24.
