Edith was a reluctant patient at doctor andrew ford's sanitarium outside of ellenville, new york. She had grown sceptical of these treatments as her anxieties always returned when she re entered normal life. Enter carlon harold's cousin, medil mc Cormick who worked with him on his dual demons of depression and alcoholism. Edith summoned him to the rockefeller estate in pocantico, New York where he agreed to take her on as a patient.
