There were yiddish and german theatre troops in new York. Four vaudeville troops a the tour of the country. There was there was a group of radio actors. A w p a circus. Groups that did free outdoor performances. The tickets were sold for a fraction of the going rate. Were talked about like a quarter or 50 cents instead of one or two dollars. It obviously didn't make a lot of theatre producers really happy.
