Proust's Digressive Melancholy Nostalgic Style Is a Much Sharper Tone

Proust's style is a much sharper tone working along with it undercutting the expectations. He goes from lyricism and rhapsody sometimes and then he turns it around and becomes the naughty boy who's going to basically blow up the bubble of expectation. I love that image in fact after I read your piece I went and watched Charlie Chaplin at the end of the film and it's beautiful because he's so sad it would break your heart but then you just get a little click which changes everything.
