How to Study a Small Animal That's So Small You Can't See It
Dr. Dunn explains how scientists study something that it's so small you can't see it like those face mites. "We're not very good at keeping them alive off of the skin and so mostly what we can do when we get them in a microscope slide is sort of watch them for a little bit," he says. Dr. Dunn: One of the really humbling things though about how we study them is how we don't study them. 'If we could figure out how to grow them again we could do all kinds of studies that are impossible'
