Are We Just Tracking Fashions?
i wonder what we're tracking though. I mean, unless we has a sort of mic and a history all of its own. A it is to some extent, self er generating. But there are fashions and trends within philosophy that but come and go a seemingly oin some sort of internal logic,. which i don't understand, just fashion. And if that's all we're tracking, and a lot of people do think there's no real progress in philosophy. There shouldn't be. The only sort of philosophy in which there's no progress is bad philosophy.
