In the 80s, there's more Puerto Rican nationalists that get convicted under Cidicious Conspiracy. In 2003, a group of guys who were trying to fight with the Taliban and go fight with al-Qaeda got convictions for seditious conspiracy. The Justice Department charged Liberty City 7 in Florida as an al-Qaeda operative but later coaxed them into confessing they weren't really jihadist.
