The Clerical Underground

The clerical underground is this term we use, which is kind of deliberately a little nebulous because it's just like a black, cold, dark matter kind of thing. So people were traveling about swapping various sacred material objects. And so Rima's are almost certainly some part of this and the operations for travel and things sometimes seem to suggest some of that as well. People who were lettered were considered to often be more likely to be useful if, you know, the local granary gets haunted or people keep seeing a strange black horse or black dog. You need more common, right?
