I don't know I think that breaks down a lot on social media. For example if I'm posting Instagram story I can pretty like a really close friend of mine for example to get some value out of it. But there also could be a number of people I'm trying to like signal to in an unhealthy way. If you have zero watchers then maybe it's time to not post Instagram stories and just take photos for your own camera roll instead. As long as what you're doing has at least an audience of one then I think that's a reasonable way of thinking about it.
