"There's like a lore about adoption and not enough attention is paid to the adoptees in that situation or really to the birth mom they often get vilified," says Rosie. "I had a naive view of adoption although I was as learned as I could be because I read every book that there was to read and knew a lot about adoption trauma but there was no doubt in my mind that I was going to be a mother from the time I was a little girl", she adds. 'When you adopt you try to find a situation where everyone kind of wins'
