What Should We Base Our Relationships On?

Why am i still in this relationship? Why not just the first thought that comes to mind? Oh, well, cause she makes me happy. Or, i don't really feel the need to go anywhere else. And for how long do we let others, or our own demons and mind ghosts, hold the map and lead the way? We know why fear all the stuff we talked tso maybe the question is: Maybe the question is, for how much longer are we going to allow it?
